Abstract. The article considers the relevance of the development of information
competence among future teachers – undergraduate students majoring in Geography and Life Safety. The types and content characteristics of information competence are analysed. The author’s tasks on Road Safety for students are presented, contributing to the qualitative and systematic development of this competence among future teachers of the fundamentals of life safety.
