National vocal art of China has been developing since ancient times. This movement
can be conditionally divided into three stages. The Brst one is the natural spread of traditional national singing; the second one is the emergence of professional and systematic teaching methods and rules; the third stage is a combination of traditional national vocal music and European vocal music, it is in further teaching search currently.
This article presents the main achievements of vocal pedagogy in China and trends in
the development of the pedagogy of singing art based on the example of national songs
and folklore performance.
