The article presents the results of the ascertaining experiment, characterising the features of the modern regional educational space as an empirical basis for designing innovative educational technologies. The authors describe the scientimc theoretical approaches to the study of innovative processes in the meld of education and determine the methodological foundations of designing innovative practices of education.
