The article is devoted to the complex research of the problem of arts’ interaction. The
main attention in this work is focused on the identification of interrelations, which unite
and help to draw parallels between music and painting of the baroque era. The author
makes an attempt to reveal the semantic interpretation of the musical and thematic
direction of baroque paintings. The article presents the author’s observations and draws
parallels between painting and music of the baroque.
