The article is devoted to philosophical refl ection on the concept of urban marginality
in the context of its manifestation within the architectural space. The author identifi es
the main causes for urban marginality and factors of its development and, as a result,
proposes concrete solutions, noting the ambiguity and complexity of the problem being
addressed.
