The article analyses crisis communication of the US executives in conditions of the
industrial disaster in West. Crisis communication strategies and implementation of
the basic principles of crisis communication offered by the leading theorists in crisis
communication and crisis management are covered. Also the article presents the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of the US executives’ communication directly in the phase of crisis. Recommendations for more effective crisis response during an industrial disaster are provided furthermore.
