In this article premises and reasons for neologisation are considered. Neologisation is one of the main sources of replenishment of Czech adverbs. At the center of attention are neologisms-adverbs, modes of their formation and areas of functioning. The classification of neologisms-adverbs is given and conclusions about productivity / nonproductivity of different patterns of neologisation are drawn.
