The paper describes the features of developing an individual’s tolerance as conscious
morality in the domestic thought of the late 19th – early 21st centuries. The author
analyses the interaction of individual consciousness with sociocultural reality, which
results in a tolerant world-view. The author also considers pedagogical conditions of
tolerance forming and gives recommendations on developing an individual’s tolerance
principles.
