The article considers the peculiarities of application of the requirements of Professional Standards for Teachers to defining the names and structure of educational programmes of modular courses in the system of additional vocational education. The author presents the opinions on forming the content of additional vocational training under conditions of the preschool education standard. The author also substantiates the use of the functional approach in defining the structure of professional competence of preschool teachers.
