The problem of the Don Juan archetype’s interpretation is considered in the paper in
the context of postmodernism. Postmodern artistic experience is connected with the
deconstruction of the traditional methods of the archetype’s realisation, with a multifold
dialogue-game with the near and distant future of the world donjuaniana. At the same
time, postmodernism opens new fields in the semantic value of the Don Juan myth and appears to be a freestanding stage in the prospect of the archetype’s renditions.
