The paper is focused on documentary prose in Bashkir literature. Studying of documents, research, artistic and documentary trends establish a perspective of new discoveries on the way of Bashkir prose. In modern Bashkir literature, the term “artistic and documentary literature” is very popular. The relevance of the topic and the proposed work consists in the necessity to explore the artistic and documentary prose in full in order to understand its phenomenon. Analysing Bashkir literature, the author comes to a conclusion that critical and literary thought has given little attention to this subject.
