The paper is devoted to the works of Miikul Pakhomov, a founder of literature in
the Ludic dialect of the Karel language. Pakhomov’s role in the creation of fiction,
educational and children’s literature is shown. The elements of traditions and innovations in M. Pakhomov’s poetry are directed at creating works manifesting the national artistic consciousness.
