contributes to forming of social and professional competences, which are interdependent. The article describes the technology of organising student volunteer groups, which includes steps, certain principles and pedagogical conditions. In order to increase the efficiency of student’s volunteer activity the authors suggest diversifying its directions and forms, using the system of work and attracting social partners. The authors also describe the experience of work of a student volunteer group with foster children.
