In the practice of international relations the same discourse can be understood differently in different discourse models. This often causes misunderstanding, disputes and conflicts. China experiences this problem because of its traditional philosophy’s peculiarities. The author of the article tries to explain the features of traditional Chinese philosophy to eliminate misunderstanding.
