Social and pedagogical aspects of facilitation of ta lented school students’ training

The dual value of applying facilitation in teaching gifted students is considered in the
paper. The author believes that as a psychological and pedagogical help and support,
facilitation contributes to the development of intellectual abilities of gifted students.
But as a technology of students’ group cognitive activity organisation, facilitation may
constrain effective solutions to complex problems and reduce the effect of a gifted
student.
