The article is devoted to the ways of training professional andragogists within the adult
education system in Europe today, their value-focused, organisational and substantive
aspects of the profession. Formal, non-formal and informal education is considered. The author justifies the process of professional training of andragogists for the adult education system in modern Europe as an important component of the Europe-wide system of continuing education focused on the labour market.
