Emotional lability of adolescents with mental defiiency and adolescents with mental
retardation is caused by the prevailing features of exalted, emotive and cycloid types
of character accentuations. Emotional lability is an important structural component of
predisposition to aggressive behaviour. Predisposition of adolescents with intellectual
disorders to aggressive behaviour is higher than among adolescents with normal intellect.
