The Finnish factories “Abo”, “Arabia”, Rakkolanjoki factory and Wilhelm Andstén’s factory were the suppliers of stoves, fieplace stoves and fieplaces to Petersburg during the period of Art Nouveau. The products of Russian and German pottery companies also graced the interiors of urban and country houses. Famous artists, architects and designers created projects for these factories. The article reflcts the intertwining of stylistic features of products of the Finnish industries, which used tile models of German manufacturers in their work. The author also describes the products of Russian factories, which developed a new style in the spirit of Art Nouveau on the basis of national traditions.
