The paper deals with the main ideas of J. L. Moreno concerning theatre and role play
in studying the psychodrama phenomenon. According to the author, the usage of the
basic conceptions of psychodrama and theatre by teachers is a means of perfection of the
educational process. The authors’ version of the well-known idea that “all the world’s a
stage” is provided for foreign language teachers.
