The article explores the concept of “educational research activity of students”, characterizes learning strategies of educational research activity of students and examines stages of educational research. The author emphasizes the role of Mathematics teacher in educational research activity and compiles a list of factors contributing to educational research activity. The article defi nes pedagogies which
are most appropriate in the organization of educational research activity in teaching Mathematics. The article also provides a detailed description of educational projects in Mathematics and Computer Science and presents examples thereof.
