Ranking a number of organisations is oftn a problem in economic analysis. Depending

on the purposes of rating, the criteria of comparison of the studied objects change.

Ranking of organisations due to their fiancial condition can be constructed in multiple

modes, diffrent both in terms of organisations’ quality assessment and the methodology

of rating. Some aspects of rating of several organisations are investigated in the paper, the main methods for constructing ranking are presented, and the comparison of methods is carried out in terms of their appropriateness in diffrent contexts and conditions. The author also investigates the method of peer review that identifis the best set of estimates of impact indicators, included in the methods of rating construction.
