The paper is devoted to the relevant problem of individualisation of training in algebra
and pre-calculus study. The author clarifis the notion of individualisation based on the
defiition of I. Unt. Adaptive tests serve as means of individualisation. The paper presents
an adaptive test algorithm taking into account individual peculiarities of testees.
