MEANS OF YAKUT-RUSSIAN TRANSLATION OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC TERMINOLOGY WITH NO DIRECT EQUIVALENTS

The article is devoted to the means of Yakut-Russian translation of socio-economic
terminology with no direct equivalents as a way to expand the lexical structure in
Yakut economic term formation. Translating socio-economic terminology with no
direct equivalents, one mainly uses the following techniques: loan translation by means
of grammatical and lexical transformations (replacement of parts of speech, lexical
replacement), descriptive translation, transcription and transliteration in cases when it is
possible to include a borrowing naturally into the system of socio-economic terminology.
