The article introduces a little known writer Ella d’Arcy representing the decadent
culture of England at the turn of the 20th century. As a result of her collaboration with
the Yellow Book literary periodical, eleven short stories of the writer were published
on its pages. The stories are interesting but forgotten samples of the late Victorian Age
literature.
