The results of the works in the Khudat area of the Azerbaijan Republic provided the large
factual material for search and investigation of thermal waters. At the stage of detailed
exploration the chemical and gas composition of waters of this area was defied. The
elevated concentration of such specifi components as iodine, bromine, boron and other
elements was revealed in thermal waters, which gives evidence of the possibility to use
them in industrial and balneological purposes. Chemical inquiries of water were carried
out by the employees of the Pyatigorsk Scientifi Research Institute, who presented a
medical assessment report and indications for medical use of thermal waters of the
Khudat area of the Azerbaijan Republic.
