The article presents the results of the psychometric research based on the computer test of cognitive aspects of universal study skills designed for secondary school students. The sample comprised 1502 8th- and 9th-graders from 18 schools of the Perm region. The following properties are discussed: descriptive statistics, item diU culty and discrimination, guessing parameters, and reliability. Psychometric analysis of items and the test on the whole was conducted both within the classical test theory and IRT.
