RUSSIAN EMIGRANT PRINT ADVERTISING IN CHINA: THE SEMIOTIC PERSPECTIVE

Advertising is considered in the article as a sign system, i. e. from the perspective of semiotics, the science of signs and sign systems. I e phenomenon under consideration refers to goods and services involved in commercial turnover, representing Russian emigrant advertising as a system of signs, comprehensible to the addressee, i.e. Russian emigrants in China of the 1920s – the K rst half of the 1940s.
