EDUCATIONAL INDEPENDENCE OF PRIMARY SCHOOLCHILDREN

The article raises the problem of educational independence of primary schoolchildren.
The author carries out a comparative analysis of the educational independence of 1st-
and 3rd-form pupils with the nature of their cognitive activity, educational motivation,
motives, value field and independence in general on the basis of the reflexive-positional
diagnostic complex. The author reveals two tendencies testifying to the interdependence
between the development of educational independence, cognitive motivation and the
value sphere.
