This article deals with the actualisation of issues of coherence of research approaches at the present stage of psychological knowledge. The scientific and historical chronotope of creativity of Russian psychologists is discussed. The article reflects the research potential of the category of information as a textual form of meaning expression, which makes it possible to integrate knowledge and methodological capabilities of an interdisciplinary plan into a wide range of innovative solutions in the field of studying psychological phenomena.
