The article considers the current state of patriotic education in high school. The obtained
data conĉrm the assumption about the need for meaningful restructuring of its content
and organisational forms, taking into account the speciĉcs of the country’s social
development and the relevance of ensuring effective scientiĉc and pedagogical support
at each stage of educational training of schoolchildren.
