The article evaluates the use of colour therapy in the correction of disorders of the emotional and volitional sphere in children with autism spectrum disorder who undertook sanatorium treatment at the Yamalo-Nenets District Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities and Children Subject to Regular Medical Check-Up at the Bolshoy Taraskul Dispensary. As a result of the primary diagnostics using the Lьscher Color Test, the high frequency of unsatisfactory emotional state was revealed. Satisfactory and crisis emotional states are registered less often. For a more detailed analysis of the emotional state of children, the authors study colour preferences and the spectrum of colours rejected by children with different emotional states. After completing a cycle of colour therapy classes, children experience an improvement in their emotional state. The results of the study allow the authors to recommend colour therapy for correcting violations of the emotional and volitional sphere.
