CHANGES IN THE GNOSTIC COMPONENT OF PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF ACADEMIC TEACHERS IN THE ELECTRONIC INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

The paper reveals the necessity and essence of changes in the gnostic component of 
academic  teachers’  professional  activity  in  terms  of  digitalisation  of  education  and 
digital economy demands. Considering the innovative nature of pedagogical activity in 
the electronic educational environment, the special signiScance of its research focus is 
substantiated. Gradual changes at different levels of teachers’ professional knowledge 
(worldview, general cultural and special-knowledge levels) make it possible to shape 
new professional thinking to uncover the multidimensional pedagogical potential of the 
electronic informational and educational environment.
