The article is devoted to creating special psychological and pedagogical conditions for the formation of students’ personal maturity in a higher educational institution. The following conditions are stated and fully described: activities forming students’ knowledge about personal maturity, its structure and indicators; organisation of productive interaction in the teacher-student system; formation of the subjective position of students participating in active training methods; project and volunteer work; correctional and developmental work of university psychologists.
