The article deals with the problem of establishing acmeology as an independent branch of scientific knowledge. It is noted that acmeology has passed on its way all the main stages of approval of ACME as a multidimensional characteristic of the personality of a creator, influencing at a high level of skill, primarily in professionally significant areas of activity. This influence acts as a basis for enriching culture and discovering new operational and personal meanings in all spheres of life. The authors note the difficulties in the formation of acmeology due to the fact that its problems are close to many of the existing branches of the humanities.
