The paper examines some aspects of self-esteem and the level of addictive identity of older adolescents in the relationship of these phenomena and in the context of the corresponding psychocorrection work. The work is relevant in connection with the increased social and scientific significance of the study of deviant behaviour of modern Russian teenagers. The relationship between the self-esteem of older adolescents and the status of their addictive identity has not yet been described in the works known to the author.
