The paper proves the relevance of the formation of teenagers’ technical competences
in additional education. Three components of teenagers’ technical competence are
considered: cognitive, motivational and value-based, and activity-based. The criteria and
levels (low, average, high) of the formation of technical competences of teenagers are
considered as a basis of the revealed components.
