Being a result of the psychometric research, the paper de옟nes the psychological content
and the main components of visual creativity. The main prerequisites for the development
of visual creativity at the primary school age are analysed. The paper presents the results
of the empirical study that identi옟es psychological characteristics, “relevant” and
problematic areas of the visual creativity development at the primary school age, and
some psychological gender and age peculiarities of visual creativity in primary school
children.
