Yu Wei
Price: 50 руб.
The article explores the period of time when the Chinese artists specializing in oil painting started to divest the shackles of the typical style which
had been imposed by the Cultural Revolution. The Cultural Revolution
art paradigm was reaching a state of the breaking point. The images of
women have also gone through radical transformation. Typical Cultural
Revolution features of woman, i.e. health, determination, simplicity and
neutrality, were gradually disappearing and images of women again
were regaining their characteristic femininity, tenderness and beauty
