The article covers some problems of the efficiency of legislation in the Russian Federation. It is noted that the legal technique requirements are not enough fulfilled in regulations. The legal institutions of forecasting and monitoring are not developed. Moreover, there is no speciality “legistics” in the structure of Russian education, which adversely affects the legal culture of deputies.
