Abstract. The purpose of this theoretical study is to develop a model of giftedness support that allows us to move to the practical application of knowledge about giftedness, that is, to introduce it into applied work with gifted students. The methods of this study are the analysis of literary sources on the problem of giftedness and its support, as well as sign simulation. Based on the works of J. Renzulli and the working concept of giftedness, an applied propaedeutic model for giftedness support is proposed and the possibilities of practical application of this model in the framework of propaedeutic courses in physics are considered. It is shown that a physics experiment included in propaedeutic courses plays a significant role in supporting giftedness. The dynamic classification of educational structures is developed, which allows us to determine the “place of application” of the applied propaedeutic model. It is shown that for comprehensive support of giftedness it is necessary to involve the resources of both basic and additional education.
