Abstract. This study examines factors that exert a psychotraumatic influence on the emotional state of athletes during the phase of intensive sports training. It explores the peculiarities of emotional burnout manifestation among athletes in their sporting activities and daily life. Practical recommendations are provided to mitigate the impact of emotional burnout on athletes’ sports performance.
