Abstract. The article examines ethological ideas about human in culture in the context of anthropological and epistemological problems of interaction between nature and culture. The origins of the naturalisation of culture and society are analysed using the example of modern urban culture, which forms the ecological orientation of the self-consciousness of modern humanity.
