Abstract. The paper reveals the peculiarities of the ideas of women of different ages who have different experience of family life about the specifics of their relationships with their spouses.
The results of the empirical study of marital relationships at different stages of life together are presented. The conclusions based on the results of the conducted research can form a basis for the development of a programme of psychological support for married couples experiencing crisis periods. The data presented in the article are of interest to practicing psychologists working with married couples.
