CREATIVE THINKING AND THE ROLE OF PHILOSOPHY IN ITS FORMATION

 The article proves the statement that the main purpose of teaching philosophy and at
the same time its function is to develop creative thinking. In this regard, the author
defines the concept as a dialectical unity of creative and critical thinking and formulates
the main philosophical principles of its formation: usefulness, objectivity, optimum
simplicity, hierarchy of goals and values, etc. The paper reveals the main approaches to
the formation of creative thinking in the process of teaching philosophy, in particular,
the nature and role of dialectical, critical, historical, philosophical and other approaches.
