 The article deals with succession as the most important condition for the development
of students’ creative potential in children’s orchestras of Russian folk instruments. The
author proposes an efficient system of education in a collective associated with the
division into four orchestras corresponding to the four stages of training. It provides
gradual development of students’ creative potential on the basis of the individual
approach and use of effective teaching methods.
