The article reveals the issues of the socialisation potential that intellectual and creativity
testing in humanities opens up for social orphans regarding their psychological
factors. The author also demonstrates the role of intellectual and creativity contests
in the formation of self-esteem through creative self-expression and interaction
with the outworld. Special attention is paid to the value and meaningfulness of the
experience gained by teachers during these contests for the further development of
their professional skills.
