The experience of extra-curricular activities is summarised for the fist time in the article,
basing on the work of native literature teachers at national schools. Th author elaborates principles of organisation of extracurricular activities in accordance with the basic documents of the secondary education reform and proposes new forms of extracurricular activities to improve the literary education of schoolchildren.
