 The paper is devoted to the comparative analysis of the Soviet-Yugoslav cooperation
and the economic policy of the USA towards Yugoslavia from the start of the Kremlin’s
outspoken support for Tito’s Partisans till the conflict in the Cominform. The authors
highlight the importance of the economic component in the Yugoslav direction of
Washington.
