The problem of European integration is examined in the paper as an integral feature of the domestic and foreign policy of the United Kingdom. Analysing attitudes of various parties towards the European Union, the author shows that Euroscepticism is to some extent inherent in most of the parties. Moreover, supporters of the Eurosceptic position include members of all sorts of political and ideological movements and parties of any political orientation that differ in their degree of negative attitude towards the idea of the EU.
