The article is dedicated to a brief analysis of the humanitarian activities of the Order of
Malta and its affiliated organisations. Carrying out humanitarian projects is the main
activity of the Order of Malta, so it is important to analyse the order’s humanitarian
work in order to understand the contemporary status of the order. The article covers
humanitarian projects of the order throughout the world. The main focus of the article is
made on the activities of Malteser International on the territory of the Russian Federation.
